Which British pasty is best?

The Original Cornish Pastie recipe always, none of the pale imitations from Greggs & supermarkets, there used to be a local baker up here in the North of England who used the original recipe,
If you're a reasonable cook you can make your own here the original recipe, you can tweak it to your own likes ;

I make Devon style. It freaks my wife out because South Africa has nothing similar.
Used to get amazing Cornish style in Totnes, Devon back in the day. Not been back in 20 years so don't know if the shop is still there.
A proper Cornish had meat at one end and fruit at the other so it was a full meal for the tin miners down the mines. Modern types with all meat and veg are ok, but I'll always prefer Devon style.
I've noticed whenever I go north the pasty are the best such as Yorkshire I think the have some of the best food going
My Ex's Mum's Shepard Pie. lol!!! But I Chose Cornish Pasty. xxoo

The Bedfordshire clanger looks interesting, similar to a steak and kidney pie with onions crammed into a pastry... yum!
Actually that's apple
Even better!
I've only had the Cornish kind in America. Some pastie kitchens here offer a variety of different fillings.
Cornish, Devon and oggies are all pretty similar bar shape. Each claims to be the original miners pastie. Oggy is cornish for pastie but the names mostly associated with wales just to confuse things and they're much bigger.
I would say I'd love the Cornish pasty. Even though I'm from the United States. I married a USA Midwestern girl she introduced me to a beef pasty. Those are so good they're similar to the Devon pasty. I've also had pasties that had pork and vegetables with potato.
They are all pretty good, slight edge to the Cornish pasty
I've never had any British pastry so I just have to judge by looks. The Cornish pastry looks appealing
The Devon pasty looks like an empanada. I make them for parties.
IMG !!! The thing that hits me most are the prices, can't believe it. And this is happening to me everywhere, even at the groceries the sticker shock is just tooooooo much.
I will take the clanger. Just ordering it would be a hoot
Here we call them pastry. A pasty is something a stripper wears on her nipples in conservative counties.
I’m not sure are they good just one with 100% beef and it’s sweet kind of like a Cuban pastry with meat then I will choose that one
if any has potato... that one
All of that
The Devon one just has vegetables in it, correct? In that case that one.
Bedfordshire Clanger.
What's a "pasty?"
Those things in the pictures. Generally speaking it's like a pie only a different shape so easier to hold.
Pasty=meat filling. Pastry=sweet filling
I have only tried Cornish pasty.
Welsh bits are tastiest
Bangers with cream pies
No one goes to the UK for the food... no one.
welch oggie , hands down
Well sorry what's in them
Meat and veg like in the pictures
None of them. You call that dessert?
None of the above.
All look ify to me.
