If the ones I've tried, shepherds pie is really good. There are other good things there, too. I love fish and chips but with tartar sauce, not vinegar.
I don't care for organ meat or coagulated blood. Black pudding is a partucularly cruel punishment.
Some of the things on the list aren't even of British origin.
When I visited, England, I discovered that the only good food was at Indian, Italian and other "foreign" restaurants.
I stopped at one English restaurant for lunch and asked for a salad. The girl brought out a 1/4 head of lettuce on a plate. I stared at it and then called her back over and asked if there was any salad dressing. She looked at me blankly. I repeated "Salad dressing" very slowly and distinctly. Still no comprehension. So I explained "You know, like sauce for salad." Finally the light bulb over her head lit up and she said "Auoo! You won't sosses?"
She returned and set a metal caddy on my table. It had packets of mustard, mayonnaise, ketchup and something called brown sauce. What the actual F?

I also like a bacon sandwich with black pudding added.
Also to point out to non British, the bacon is proper bacon not that streaky fat ridden crap some places do, it’s proper slices of meat.

I gain weight very quickly on fatty food and if I ate those foods I would be over 500 pounds. I’ve met people who eat 4 times more than me that weigh 90 pounds.

"Delicious" and "British foods" don't belong in the same sentence. I'd say the least disgusting British food is fish and chips, which is just fried fish and fries, anyway. I didn't know a bacon sandwich was specifically British though, cause they have that in America and Canada, too. Usually with eggs in it, as well.
Yorkshire pudding is DISGUSTING though. As is bangers and mash. And as EllaNella brought up, is there any British food that isn't brown?

My grandma is from Birmingham England, both her parents lived into my 20s (good genes) and have had most of the food on your list. Iconic for me is eggs on toast, beans on toast, or rice pudding. I really like a full English or continental breakfast either way, and like meat pies a lot. My fav things my grandma makes is chuck roast stew and pork tenderloin - though she does every holiday and love Thanksgiving!
I've never heaver had any British food, and have always heard that it was very bland. Kind of like U. S. southern food. Having grown up in New Orleans, eating super spicy food, I'm quite sure I wouldn't find it all that great. Most foods (not baked goods or dessert) should have a healthy dose of 1 part garlic, 2 part cyan pepper 2 part black pepper and 1 part chilly powder.
Apart from Black pudding (known, accurately, over here as blood pudding) and Laverbread, I like the lot. I've never had jellied eals, so I don't know about them. I can take or leave crumpets, waffles are nicer, but I remember toasting them in front of a gas fire at my grandmother's in the 1970s.
Why kind of left-wing socialist libtardians eat this shit? No wonder you have free healthcare. You're probably at the doctor every week unclogging your arteries.

Steak and kidney pie, bangers and mash, bacon sandwich, Fish and chips and An English breakfast (baked beans gotta be included) are the only nice sounding things to me 😬
Bangers and Mash for breakfast, Shepherds Pie for dinner are my favorites. Whenever I've visited England I've made sure to get these as often as possible.
I like everything on that list from 60% upwards. Nothing beats a sausage, fried egg and bacon sandwich though.
I had fish n chips and Sunday roast in London. Absolutely delicious!
My grandma always makes scotch eggs for Easter, calls them Easter eggs. They have a special place in my heart.
I’ve had mostly the good tier dishes when I was over there 30 years ago, would have liked to have ate at the Michelin House restaurant but didn’t know about it at the time , I would never eat the low tier foods
British Recipes in general are bland asf. But if I had to choose, Fish and Chips. No to Full English because black pudding is disgusting.
I love shepherd's pie so that 's the favourite. I think I'll stay away from the jellied eels. There is a name of a food in there that makes me laugh though and we all know what it is. I didn't know that was even a food until today lol
The whole damn lot... Other than:
1: Bubble and Squeak.
2: Laver Bread.
3: Jellied Eels.
Britain is known for a lot of good things. Having delicious food is not one of them.

There is no such thing as "British food" most of that menus is Scottish, or imported.
