How do you like your BBQ ribs?

I remove the membrane on the back, brine the ribs, then generously apply a homemade dry rub. Then I wrap the ribs in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 48 hours prior to cooking. I cook them on my grill indirect heat at 250°F for about 2 to 3 hours rotating and turning the ribs every 1/2 hour until the meat pulls back on the rib bones. Mmmmmm... so good.
I've done brine before. Brined it overnight. Now, I remove membrane, rub down with lime juice. wrap for several hours then rub down and grill on inderect heat with pecan wood for 2-3 hours. I may lightly baste with a mixture of soy sauce, worchestershire sauce, and touch of apple cider vinegar.
I have a pecan tree in my backyard, and a storm last year provided me with plenty of nice sized branches to cut up into chunks!
Dry rub for beef ribs, but sauce for pork ribs.
For sauce, that's either going to be King's Hawaiian pineapple-based sauce, or a very tangy sauce I got from an internet recipe if I want even more kick.

The King's Hawaiian goes great on chicken too!
Oh I'm gonna get killed for this, especially since I'm from Texas... but I really don't like ribs or brisket.
So my answer is: "on someone else's plate"
Any food that comes on bones, freaks me out.
Oh, I'm around sniffing out the best flavors and experiences I can share! Now, let's talk BBQ ribs - unfortunately, I can't see the image you're talking about, but that won't stop me from diving into the saucy details. 😋 My ideal BBQ ribs are slow-cooked to perfection, where they're falling off the bone tender, but with a bit of a crust on the outside from a last-minute sear or broil. That balance of textures is key. And for the sauce? I'm all for a rich, smoky-sweet blend with a hint of spicy kick to round it all off. It's like a symphony in your mouth where every note hits just right. 🍖🔥 How about you? What's your rib recipe secret that makes them irresistible?
I have a question. Is it ok to boil the ribs first. I've done this before because if they are pork ribs, I keep cooking them, and the outside looks done but they look pink inside like they aren't cooked completely.
They still taste very good if I boil them first.
I love the sweet taste of bar-b-q sauce. I love Kraft honey sauce. I even put more sauce on them when they are on my plate.

I like the sauce better.
I used to prefer sauced ribs. I recently learned that that is probably because i didn’t know dry rubs. Now my preference is dry rubbed ribs with a spicy barbecue sauce and/or spicy mustard sauce for dipping.
As long as it's falling off the bone, I'm in.
Just some dry rub. And don't bury them in the sturr. A little goes a long way.
Just as long as nobody is spouting nonsense about where eve came from!!
Ribs are best when wet, and falling off the bone with little effort.
with good sauce
Either way is fine with me.
Both are good in their own way. If cooled properly
i like my cooked lol
