I don't think fuel prices will go back down as they're making a profit. Fuel prices may even out but in variably this is it.
They may be able to make more offers like free delivery or more bulk offers in the supermarkets but I can't see things reducing that much.

Over the last 18 months food and gasoline have been increasing is a similar manner. However, that may not hold true for the future if prices are based on different factors. For example, weather probably affects food prices more than gasoline prices.
