lol Yes, I'm Asian, from the Philippines. I've eaten things many an American would consider strange:
● traditional (even "iconic" to us) riced-based breakfast meals;
● rice (and/or a form thereof) for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks with no complaint or even the slightest form of discontent;
● snacks flavored by 餡子 ("anko"; "AN-koh"; n.「boiled, sweetened azuki-beans」);
● deep-fried fish with the head & eyes still on it;
● an adobo ("ad-DOH-boh" from Spanish) that's brown and based on soy-sauce, sugarcane-vinegar, garlic, and pepper-corns, NOT red via paprika, salt, garlic, and vinegar as per Spain's recipe… or chilies (Mexico's) or citrus-juice (Puerto Rico's);
● a torta ("tor-TAH" also from Spanish) that's an omlet, NOT a cake (as per European Spanish) or sandwich (Latin American);
● a 3rd-hand 便食 (original Min-nan: "pân-si̍t"; lit.「convenient-meal」; Filipino loanword: "pansit"; "pan-SIT"; n.「stir-fried noodles」) 廣東 (adj.「Canton/Cantonese」or 「Guangdong-stye」), a noodle-dish UNKNOWN in actual Chinese-province (that speaks Cantonese, NOT Min-nan, the language of the Chinese who migrated to the PH);
● "American" bistek ("BEE-stek"; from English "beef-steak"; n. 「pan-fried beef marinated in soy-sauce, citrus-juice, pepper, and onion-rings」) I've NEVER seen even 1 actual American eat in my 22-years here in the Union;
Likewise, I've seen people around me eat things I would consider strange:
● K. F. C.…WITHOUT rice
Back in the Philippines, K. F. C.'s offerings included mounds of rice, not individual Southern biscuits. (And they weren't alone. McDonald's PH does, too!) Fried-chicken without rice… HOW IS THAT A MEAL‽ I'd eat an entire bucket's worth and still be looking for extras.
● P. B.& J.-sandwiches
The flavors… How is the combination considered delicious?
● Rice… with a fork
With our rice-based diet, Philippine table-etiquette's favored utensil-combination is spoon & fork. It took a while for me to get used to the U. S.'s knife & fork system, but the sight of Americans eating rice with a fork is still cringe-inducing to me.

Seems to me, no matter what I eat or how I eat it, SOMEONE thinks it's strange! My aunt made spaghetti for me two years ago and asked what I want on it since, I don't like it with sauce. I said, "Grated cheese". Y'know, the stuff that comes in a plastic jar with a green lid on it and you sprinkle it on the spaghetti like you would salt. She never heard of this!! 84 years old and she's never heard of grated cheese? So, she makes the spaghetti and gets out a block of cheese and a grater and put the cheese on top and heats it up so it melts!! WHAT?
Anyway, ever since I was about 5 years old helping grandma cater weddings, I'd take bread or a hamburger bun, and a few slabs of Swiss cheese and a thick layer of mayo between each slice and make a sandwich that way and I've been eating Swiss cheese sandwiches that way ever since! I usually have it at least once a week. Nobody else has ever heard of this.
I get bacon on my pizza. Not many people have ever heard of this.
