What's your favorite dish from your cuisine?

I love homemade lumpia, so good! I could eat 30, no lie.

As for a meal, then it's a single dish with a combination of some of the Puerto Rican food that I grew up with: habichuelas guisadas (beans and potatoes), arroz con gandules (rice and green pigeon peas), bistec encebollado (steak and onion stew), tostones (fried plantains), avocado, and a salad with tomatoes, lettuce, and green onions.

This is a normal dinner combination for my dad, and now for me.

I love the flavors that meal produces, and it reminds me of my family, and then I feel loved.

My beans end up looking just like this.

My steak is saucy, but I thinly slice my meat.

😊I was taught how to make this food in massive portions, for like 15 people. So I always share with my friends, and I keep one serving for lunch.

To celebrate this meal, I always make a large flan for dessert.

I’m Chinese and my favourite food is our soup: fish maw soup / sweet and sour soup / egg drop mushroom soup / tomato and egg soup / cabbage soup with potatoes and no onions or meat.

My favourite dish is Pasta alla Norma, a Sicilian pasta dish with fried eggplants, tomato and ricotta cheese.
