I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, but I don't "make sure that I'm eating vegetables/ fruit with every meal", because sometimes I will just have something for protein and I don't feel the need to eat fruits or veggies with it.

For example, my last meal was two pieces of kale, 1/2 cup garbanzo beans, 1/2 cup beluga black lentils, 2 snow peas, one mushroom, one carrot, and about 3 oz of imitation crab.

Yesterday, I ate a bowl consisting of 1 cup ground turkey, 1/2 cup baked chicken, 1/2 cup kidney beans, and a couple tablespoons of hot sauce.

About two hours later, I had a bowl consisting of 1/2 cup blueberries, 1/4 cup raspberries, 1/2 cup strawberries, and 1/2 cup blackberries.

About 4 hours after that, I had a cup of cottage cheese.

So I eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, but I don't necessarily make sure they are in every meal. I kind of like to just have one thing usually. Sometimes I will make a salad out of all the ingredients, but today I just ate the kale raw by the leaf, and the same with the rest of the ingredients, simply because I didn't want to bother with making a salad; I washed everything and ate it.

I do my best to have at least a mixed green salad with dinner, but fresh fruit is ridiculously expensive. I remember when table grapes were among the least expensive fruits you could buy- you just grabbed them buy the bunch and put them into a plastic bag. Now grapes are priced as though it were gemstones.

We almost never eat fruit for lunch or dinner or breakfast, it’s a snack we have for recreation between our standard eating times, but we have vegetables in virtually every meal, but sometimes it’s weak, such as a slice of onion in our burgers or cut of green leaves mixed with our marinated noodles, it’s more for vitamins than for fibre.

It's mostly bullshit made up to make sure you're buying their shit. Eskimos eat zero fruit and veg - too cold to grow anything there. But are among the longest lived people on Earth.

Make sure? No. My guidelines are not THAT strict. I just grab a cucumber and a tomato as my salad. And 10 - 15 minutes after I finish my main meal I grab a few cookies of whatever flavor I have and drink tea or juice.

Yes, I always need to take my daily dose of either fruits and vegetables. I have some digestive issues and if I don’t eat fruits and vegetables regularly I get constipated very easily and it is so freaking painful.

To be honest, it depends. On some occasions, I eat a salad or eat vegetables with my meal. However, I eat fruit as a snack and rarely with my meals.

Vegetables, if it's in the meal, I eat some of them, I like things such as mushrooms, carrot, onions.. But if my meal of the day is a sandwich, eh, whatever.
