When I visited Italy (near Pisa) the pasta was always mixed with the sauce, and I was informed by those in that region that that is the "authentic" way to have pasta - so that is the way I enjoy it now. :)
I voted mixed but only because I kinda premix it on my plate. But premixing as part of the cooking process is a waste of time because they are cooked separately, and who doesn't just want to dig in when it's spaghetti?

I only eat plain spaghetti with loads of grated cheese on it. I don't like the sauce.
Sometimes I'm in the mood for just noodles with butter, garlic, and loads of parmy
Yeah, covered in butter works, too.
Depends, If its bolognese then I prefer it separate so I can mix it together myself.
If it's any other type of spaghetti then I prefer it pre-mixed.
I like it separate so I can mix it myself… together with ketchup
Ketchup? I'm calling the cops
Yeah you can’t just Have Ketchup that’s Grounds for Arrest and 15 or longer Years in prison you’d be lucky to Get parole.
Using ketchup could get you life in prison without the possibility of parole.
@ShaTTeredMasterpeace hahaha *points ketchup guns at them*
@EarthRealm as long as I get to eat it in prison… lol

Mixed otherwise the noodles stick, but you can put some more sauce and parm on top too.
Reminding myself that I am hungry AF
Lmao same.

I just like it that way, you can add or subtract how much pasta you want with your sauce and meat. abd you can taste the favors better that way.
if it's from a restaurant, i like mixing it myself
if i make it at home, i'll mix it in the pot before serving
I separate cause I add extra ingredients to my sauce. Plus my father doesn't like spaghetti sauce so that's another reason
One way in, one way out. It's no different either way. If I'm making my own at home I do it whichever way the mood takes me.
I suspect the spaghetti tastes exactly the same no matter which way its served.
Not necessarily. When mixed together the flavors have a chance to settle through the pasta. Makes it more flavorable in my opinion
For the ten seconds before serving?
Lmao I don't eat it right after it's done so. And I moreso mean the next day.
Mixed, I didn’t even know people actually just put it on top of noodles until I was like 10
Yeah lol I had it at a restaurant when I was younger and was like wtf is this lol

Spaghetti already mixed together. I don't see how people would prefer them separately.
I like it separate. Same thing with rice. My family thinks I'm weird lol.
If I make it myself I will mix it! If I order it, I will keep it as it is!
Mix it together in a meat sauce but I like using angel hair pasta. Most times I am slipping in venison lol
I take a knife n fork and chop it up when it's separate, would probably do the same to the mixed if the spaghetti noodles are long!
I break my noodles in half before cooking them sometimes.
I do too but still chop it up, tastes better that way too cuz it's mixed nicely!
My mom makes it mixed and then bakes it it's really good (:
Mixed as in mixed opinion. I think it depends on the dish.
