So I was here thinking to my buttons. If we ever come into to an apocalyptic world. We’ll probably eat up all canned and packaged food.
however if we get REALLY HUNGRY and there is nothing left, would dog food be a last option?

Well, the next time you see a can (or bag, or whatever), take a look at the ingredients. They're probably some combination of meat (or meat meal, which is basically ground up meat with minimum moisture requirements), corn or another grain, then some flavorings and additives. Obviously, the specifics are going to vary by brand, but there's VERY little humans actually can't eat that other animals can; we're REAL good at adaptability.
Why don’t you eat dog food for the rest of the year which means every single day for breakfast, lunch, dinner and whatever other time you feel hungry then let me know how that worked out for you on January 1, 2023. That sounds like a great idea
? My question was for a survival purpose. Obviously.
