Do you like Mezcal?

I love it! I realized the other day when a waitress specifically asked me if I liked it after ordering a cocktail that many must not like it. I love the smokey flavor.

What @AviatorTom said is correct, tequila is a type of mezcal. Both are made from the agave plant, but tequila is made from a specific type of mezcal plant. All tequilas are mezcals, but not all mezcals are tequila. Personally I prefer tequilas but I have had some non-tequila mezcals that were good too.
