If you had to choose between coke and pepsi which would you drink?

As a kid, I drank what mom brought home, usually RC, Diet Rite Cola, or Coke. I didn't care. it was soda.

As a teenager, for some reason I became a Pepsi guy for some years, then I started dating a gal who drank Coke. I instantly converted to Coke and have been drinking only Coke if I could get it, which is most everywhere, for about 30 years or more.

In the last several months or so, after having become ticked off at Coke's management, I decided to go back and try Royal Crown once again.

I have to say that Royal Crown beats both Pepsi and Coke.

My wife has been a pure Pepsi devotee for many years, but she also tried RC when I requested it on the shopping list.

She now prefers RC to Pepsi.

Maybe the cola wars are once again heating up!!

The second half of the classic cola scene in the "All In The Family" Season 5, Episode 10 "The Longest Kiss" in which Mike asserts he can tell the different between Pepsi (Edith's favorite), Coke (Gloria's favorite), and Royal Crown (RC, Mike's favorite). Before this excerpt, Mike was grumpy about the RC being missing in the refrigerator. Gloria says he can't even taste the difference between them. He tells her he can and challenges her to set-up a blind taste test. Thus, this scene.

I've done it too; it's easy to tell the difference between the three.

I preferred Diet Coke but I had kidney stones last year and my doctor advised me to no longer drink dark sodas amongst other things. I haven’t had a Coke since last October.

I would most likely choose Pepsi but I don’t really like dark sodas I would actually choose root beer if I was to drink one. But of those two Pepsi please.

Equally at home with both, but neither taste like cola any more, and if they were only available as diet/sugar free I'd drink neither as the artificial sweeteners are foul tasting.

Coke. Because I've kicked my sugary pop addiction. I hate diet pop, but I like coke zero. I typically drink cherry coke zero.

For the record I always drank Pepsi over coke back in the day unless it was lime flavored coke.
