Do you stock up on coffee or other things while you already have plenty?

You can find coffee sachets everywhere with me. Because every week I buy some more even tho I have many.
It's not a bad thing though as if they put up the price I can just sit for a couple weeks on it to see if the reduce it again.

Yes. Lived long enough to know stock runs out in stores when you really need something. Happened with two kinds of unscented cat litter this week, in every local store. Screwed when you have allergic to false fragrances so can’t get scented. Ended up driving out of town. And doubled up.

i have a routine where when i get to critical levels of stuff i go out and buy more, like my favorite teas and water and other staples

we have a freezer full of meat and we have a couple of shelf units stocked with non perishables. With the spotty supply chain we don't want to run out of something

Yes, anything that doesn't have a short shelf life. I'll buy things that are on offer, especially tins, jars, etc.

Interesting question. I like to buy things before the thing runs out, while my SO likes to buy only when it runs out. For example, the milk carton is 3/4 empty. I like to buy a new carton before it runs out. My SO doesn't like to "take up space" with something we can't use yet, and waits until the milk us all gi e before buying a new carton.

It's also possible that the store doesn't always have what we want , and it's generally good practice to have a reserve.
