out of the way those two are shown to be cooked I'd rather the stake, because of the obvious flavor plate difference. Atho I do like both proteins in many different dishes

I prefer raw salmon or Costco salmon and crab meat bake. I do not like cooked salmon because I’ve adapted to raw salmon.

The red juice that leaks from a steak is not blood it is a mixture of water and a protein called myoglobin. So no need to fear blood.

As for me I love a good sizzling steak with grill marks & I also love salmon & I buy it when I make salmon wellington.
