Only about $200 at most. Normally only about $100 or less. It's extremely easy since I have a Sam's club card, and since even though I go to Walmart more often produce is extremely cheap. Enough potatoes, onions, and bell peppers for me for one month only cost about $10!

It goes up drastically higher when we have parties & guests.

10 ReplyAbout 200 a month just for me and my husband. We eat with family twice a week though. Some months we will eat deer out of our freezer more and it will coat less.
10 ReplyThanks to prices these days, between $1,600 and $2,000 per month. Me, wife, four kids, the cat.
12 Reply100 dollars at most. I save a lot of money knowing how to cook. I buy lots of rice, potatoes, make my own sauces. I live on cooking bacon and chicken thighs. I also have solar lights and brew my own ethanol for cooking and heating. Best not to rely on rip off energy corporates. Oh yeah growing your own food is satisfying and it's free. Tomatoes and potatoes hàve the biggest yield...

I eat out more then buy groceries… it’s really bad…

Depending on what I buy, I'll usually spend between $800-1200. Sometimes I've been able to get away with spending $600-800.
00 Reply Now days I worry more about my energy bills than groceries. Considering my overall spending has tripled since the beginning of the economic crisis

We shop at Aldi's and our grocery bill is approximately $400 a month. Cost of living where I am at is probably a lot less than where you're living. If you live on either Coast the cost of living is higher than here in the heartland.

I'm in the fire department, to cook for the station we pay about $80 to make a total of 10 plates over two meals with some not much leftovers.

Food has been the biggest thing but my rent and stuff has gone up. Thankfully, this year I've started to make more as a teacher so it's not as bad as 2021 was.

That is true, I've seen so many people struggle financially just because they didn't want to pay attention to their spending.

college degrees nowadays are like toilet paper. Unless you're plans are to become a literature professor i don't think a job interviewer for an accountant firm would hire someone if the interviewed would State "I shot an arrow in the air, it fell to earth I know not where" as being qualified 😇🍷😘

lol, there's many degrees still useful but very bad ways of them being taught. I remember having to take a bunch of unnecessary classes
