I'm not much of a drinker (I'm not above the odd beer, but both sides of my family have serious histories of alcoholism, so both my parents were pretty sparing, and that's what I picked up), but I'm quite fond of a drink called Belgian Red, made by the New Glarus brewery. It's... well, the bottle describes it as "the marriage of beer and wine"; I'm not sure what it qualifies as on a technical level. It's made with Montmorency cherries- over a pound in each bottle, they claim- and is STRONGLY cherry-flavored, but you can also pick up the wheat and barley; it's not just an alcoholic cherry soda. I'm told that fruit beers make for terrible hangovers, but I don't drink enough to get those, so it's never been an issue for me.
Unfortunately, New Glarus doesn't distribute outside of Wisconsin. At all. In Chicago, that was a minor annoyance, but now I'm in Florida, so goodness knows when I'll be able to have one again.
In the broader sense, I find the snootiness that comes with a lot of more... precise forms of booze intolerable. Wine snobbery is pretty much expected, but you see the same in mezcals, whiskeys (and as an American to an Irishwoman, let me thank you for having the good sense and spelling skills to put the "e" in that word), and even vodkas. Fortunately, there's rum. Now, that sentence can be applied to a LOT of things, but in this case, all you get is pirate jokes. I can appreciate that.
Oh I see, its a 'beverage' now is it?
Trying to sound all fancy like that isn't a tall glass of lunch in your hand.
Y'Irish lush!
(Rather a lush lush truth be told) although that is probably dank lit these days))
You can barely sit upright; what is it? 1 in the afternoon?
But alright, nevermind, can't be helped, it's the curse of your race after all.
You might say its in your blood and I would imagine that most of the Irish will tell you thats the best place for alcohol.
But don't mind me, I'm just jelly cos my days of ringing doorbells with my feet after soloing a bottle of White Lightning are far behind me.
These days if i do drink anything its likely to be somewhat more refined, a nice whisky or perhaps some red wine but I'm not much of a drinker.
I don't drink anymore as I quit and never did much to begin with but occasionally I used to drink wine coolers such as seagrams and mikes. Also red wine was one of my favorites. I just don't care to drink anymore and wanna be healthy plus age fine lol.
1. Among the red wines = Zinfandel
2. Among the white wines = Viognier
3. Among cocktails = Margarita
4. Among beers = anything that's malty sweet but light
5. Among straight hard liquor = aged single malt Scotch Whiskey or Cognac

I also don't drink, but I've tried the taste of wine, non alco wine even, of beer as well and of cruisers. I'm just not a fan of alcoholic, stuff. The taste, yuck.
I'll take a sweet drink of soda or sweet drink any day any time, rather than drink alcohol.. I even prefer coffee far more.
I have several due to my mercurial nature.
Beer: Leinenkugel’s Summer Shandy
Whiskey: Woodford Reserve
Liqueur: Yukon Jack
Cordial or schnapps: Rumpel Minze
My favorite cider was Woodchuck 802 but it got discontinued. 😭😭😭
The closest i’ve come to a new favorite is Wyder’s Reposado. It’s better than everything else i’ve tried but still pales in comparison to 802. It’s a GD shame! Ell oh ell!
Kind of, Woodford Reserve is a bargain at its price. Best whiskey for the money, in my opinion. You have to spend a lot more money to get a better whiskey and you can get donkey balls sweat for the same price easy. I recommend Woodford to everyone i know who likes whiskey.
Hahahaha!
Vodka-Redbull. Good quality vodka doesn't cause hangovers and red bull contains stimulants that neutralize tiredness that comes after short euphoria of ethanol.
Science 🔬
I prefer Jameson Irish Whisky or a good single malt Scotch Whisky with an ale chaser such as Kilkenny.
Is that you in the photo if so you're very attractive.
Would love to chat sometime if you're up to it.
Thanks 😀 And sure, message me if you like
Back in the day it was Rum. But after age 15 I put alcohol aside and never looked back. I don't touch it anymore unless I'm using it as a mouth wash which is rare or swallowing a small amount if I think I may have eaten something that was bad. Other than that I don't touch.
Sixteen men on the dead man’s chest
Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum!
Drink and the Devil had done for the rest
Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum!
Walk the plank, that be the best
Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum!
But one man of her crew alive
Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum!
What put to sea with seventy-five.
Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum!
I don't drink anymore but when I did my fav beer was
Miller Highlife and Mickeys
And for straight alcohol
Fireball, Jack, E&J Brandy, Henry, cpt Morgan and the mixture if drinks liquid cociane, that shit will hit you hard and you can't feel. your legs after awhile hahaha but you like moving through like it's nothing and it's gravity.
I don't drink alcohol. And you're not old enough to drink, anyway.
I'm not American, I'm Irish, and its worth noting that pretty much every (non-islamic) country aside from the US and Japan have legal drinking before your 20s. Your very much an outlier lol
I don't drive drunk? Your second point is debatable too, but fair enough
This beer
Look at the can topper.
How old do you think that beer can is and yes that beer is still being made
The aesthetic and font looks quite vintage, maybe 50s or 60s?
That can is from 1975
Here are today's cans from 2021
Looks almost the same. Old can was made out of steel and today's is made from aluminum
I used to drink that, can no longer find it
@panamared1 Whats your closest big city or zip code I might be able to find it
@exitseven I still do, I was stoked when they brought it back
pitt, cincy, columbus
@panamared1 It's not sold in your area
Looks like a drive if you want it
I don't actually drink! Never had much of an interest in doing so. Is that weird? Also, I was wondering if you would like to chat? I am trying to find friends and supporters. Needing some advice...
No that's not weird, and sure you can message me if you like :)
The only alcohol I consume is the one they discreetly place in my toothpaste for whatever reason.
Pretty much anything with alcohol or liquor in it. Doesn't matter what it taste like either because it'll all taste good once you've drank enough.

Beer: Fat Tire in the winter, a Pilsner in the summer
Cocktail: mojito
Liquor: bourbon
Wine: cab/sav
It changes from time to time but most of the time it's Crown Royal Whiskey on the rocks or mixed with a soda
Non drinker here , have smoked only once , don't even drink tea 😅
not much of a drinker... but it would be wine, from time to time
Long Island iced tea has all the clear liquors it's one of the fastest ways you can get drunk and spend the least amount of money.
I love gin & tonic or a cocktail (like a mojito or something fruity)
Beer is my choice of alcoholic beverages. Heineken light is my all time favorite. It used to be colors light until my ex boss bought me a Heineken years ago
It varies... rum and come is probably my most common drink.
I often drink an old fashion. But if you are talking straight, brandy of course
I don’t drink, drinking doesn’t make sense to me.
Probably beer - either pilsner or brown ales. I do cook with a lot of wine and vodka, though.
Mulled gin.

I do not or will not drink alcohol. I'll only drink whiskey drinks. Can't stand the taste of alcohol anymore.
I like good English bitter, stout and porter. Some German beers are good too but I'm not much into lager.
cognac is the best i ever had , but it is also expensive
i also love soju ( korean)
Whiskey. Pretty much any one of them. But I prefer either makers mark or Jim beam peach
I don't like to drink alcohol much but if so then it's wine
Bourbon and ginger ale. 50/50 if you’re a big drinker.
