Here in the states I only see it served with crackers, it always reminds me of rocks which have veins of bacteria growing in them and the rocks crumble in the same way along the veiny faults.
They don't look good to me at all. Does not appeal to me, not sure how the taste will be though.

I'm not into veiny cheeses. Ans as I said before, I never developed a taste for Stilton. I prefer a good cheddar or swiss... no veins.
Veiny ones are less common and thus appreciated.
