As a kid, I thought it was so gross when people put salt on watermelon. But I'm in my 40s now; I put a little sprinkle of salt on it. That said, I still remember my hatred as a kid so I don't put salt for the kids around me.

One thing if you guys haven't tried that I think is even superior to salt is just a little sprinkle of message. Just the tiniest bit, mind you, and even try a blind taste. You can do not only on watermelon but also strawberries and other fruits. It sounds gross but I think for most of us, it tastes better -- even better than a small amount of salt.
