Honey based ice cream, good or bad?

It's unusual to find honey in commercial brands of icecream because it doesn't freeze well and turns grainy on storage. This means it has to be eaten pretty fresh. A few ice cream parlours specialise in honey ice cream and although not my favourite I won't say no to one.

So have you tried honey based ice cream?

Yes, they have a Cold stone , ice cream parlor need me, they use it in toppings with nuts, and butterscotch kind of stuff thrown on. I don't think you have Cold stone, ( an ice cream chain) in Britain, little cuddly - koo.

Honey is bad for small children… and children like ice cream and parents may not know.

I’ve had it, on a visit to the UK. Not my favorite either but like you, I wouldn’t turn down having it again.

I hate any flavour of ice cream. I can't get past the texture, reminds me of cold vomit.

I've had honey poured on top of ice cream. I really don't know if any of the hundreds of flavours I've eaten contained honey or not.

No. I know at the store there is honey & pistachio ice cream private selections brand. But I haven't tried it yet.

Yes I have and they add mini honeycombs as toppings it was yummy

Had some some greek honey ice cream once. Wasn't bad but wouldn't place it in top 10.

Honey sounds more like some sort of Sunday topping rather than a base flavor. I’d try it for free, though.
