What soup could you eat for the rest of your life?

I could eat Lobster bisque forever...

I do love a rich and creamy basil tomato soup accompanied with a grilled cheese sandwich on whole wheat bread, or a Mexican chicken vegetable soup in a chicken stock with wild rice… that would never get boring.. you can dress it up, dress it down..

Lobster bisque is amazing on mashed potatoes.. I say it’s like a seafood gravy when I do that! *numnumnum*

Tomato soup and shredded mozzarella on top of it.. I remember when I was pregnant, I craved this soup every day. Although I have drunk this soup so many times, I am still not tired of it.

There’s a chain of casual Italian restaurants where I’m from called Bertucci’s. I’m usually pretty averse to chain-restaurants as a rule, but Bertucci’s has always been solid. They mostly are a brick oven pizzeria but have other Italian fare.

Anyway, they have a Sausage Soup there that’s PHENOMENAL. I think it’s mostly just chicken broth, crumbled Italian sausage, rice, spinach, and melted cheese on top, and then some goofy ingredients like tomato paste, etc. I actually bought a cookbook that specializes in reasonable facsimiles of famous chain restaurant fare, from Morton’s Steakhouse to Frosties from Wendy’s, haha. That soup is in there, and I need to get my ass off my shoulders and make it. I did it blindly once about ten years ago and it came out well. Maybe when the weather starts to cool off I’ll give it another shot, by the book.

My mom's tomato soup. I know that sounds boring but she puts something in it and won't tell me what it is. It's magnificently deep in flavor and actually quite filling.
