How was it? What was the best food you've had?
There’s a food truck in Austin, Texas called Flavia’s Kitchen that specializes in authentic Mexican food. I hate that it’s 2,000 miles away, lmao.
Best part is when I went there, probably four years ago now, there was a woman working it, and then a young girl I’d guess to be about 11 or 12. The little girl comes up to take the order, and she was ALL BUSINESS😂 She wasn’t unfriendly as much as she was just a pro, and there wasn’t a single shred of “isn’t this cute? I’m a child taking your food order!” in her approach. Then, after not even that long of a time, she calls me up to get my food, and she looks me in eye and dead seriously, but clearly proudly, goes “sorry it took a minute. We make our corn tortillas from scratch.” Just dropped a huge humble-brag on my head that hit me like a ton of bricks. She only said those few words, but the look in her eyes said “This is about to change your life and flip your universe upside down. Go back to Boston and tell all the other Gringos what you experienced here today.”😂😂😂

As for me I love going to food truck events & a few times a year I go to them. Other times I find my favorite trucks by bars or on the street & it’s lunch time. My development from time to time has a food truck night where a local food truck comes in & all I have to do is walk over to the mailbox area & order.
In several of my business locations, there are several food trucks that I have permitted to park and serve their dishes in designated areas within or around my business premises.
Some food truck vendors can win contracts that I'd award if they're sophisticated & crafty enough to cater to my employees, customers & guests.
As a good example to my employees, customers & guests, I enjoy the delicious dishes I personally buy from the various food trucks and eat them with the food truck owners, cooks, servers, my employees, customers & guests.
Occasionally. I either find they serve low quality greasy crap and have questionable hygiene. Or the ones aiming to be gourmet trucks are over priced to fleece the tourists and you might as well go to a restaurant and eat the same thing at half the price. This one used to be good but now you need to be a Russian oligarch to afford the lobster roll.

Never bought a hotdog or other weird things they call food. 😶
Well, the truck was actually a young woman with a pushcart going from office to office, but she usually carried the typical tasty assortment of the German bakeries:
Yes, last summer the company I work for sometimes has a food truck come to the parking lot and we get lunch. I had a hot dog and fries once and they got an ice cream truck to come one day and I had a sundae.
Living in LA of course I've ordered things from many food trucks. The ones around here are usually Mexican food. Last one i recall was a few tacos.
I have gotten food from food trucks. Sometimes it is very good, other times I wasted my money. I think it depends on what restaurant they get the food from.
Yes, many times. They're very popular here, especially Mexican ones. There was a Mexican one in my town that had really good Carne Asada Burritos and Tacos Al Pastor, but then I had another one in another town that was lousy.
The best I had was in a rural area in Kauai. The guy had BBQ Pull Pork Sandwiches that were to die for.
yes. i've had food from food trucks plenty of times. just like any food service experience, sometimes it's good, sometimes it's great, sometimes it 'meh, and sometimes not so good
I support food trucks whenever I can. Not one for the big conglomerate type restaurants I like to support the little guy/gal and often the food is way better tasting and way better for you.
All the time. Some of the best home cooking I've ever had was from food trucks, and they're priced right too.
All the time! Ice cream, barbecue, grilled cheese, hotdogs, Mexican… Love them!
Many times. Some good some bad… they are just as food as the restaurant in some cases but I’ve had some scary burritos too!
Yes many times. Worked as an electrician for years then food trucks at many events. Some are really good
I've had some really good Greek and Barbecue and Mexican food at a variety of food trucks spanning Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado.
I worked in NYC for a while, and getting a hot dig or some halal at a food truck was common for lunch.
Oh, sure. All the time. The ones that have Mexican food are usually the best.
Many times. I've worked at places where that was the most convenient option for lunch.
Some of them are quite good, especially the highly specialized ones.
Many times!
The best falafel sandwich ever!
I've only eaten from a few roach coaches. I can't remember their names. But they were decent.
