When was the last time you ordered food via Door Dash or Uber Eats?

I ordered my lunch via DoorDash today.

I never have. My wife and I have been living in a rural area over 20 minutes from the nearest towns for 24 years. It would be an hour round trip to our door from any restaurant. But we don't feel deprived. We wouldn't use those services even if we lived in a city. We both have cars and don't mind driving. Plus, we have a well stocked pantry and refrigerator and grow some of our own fruits and vegetables, and make some delicious, healthy, organic meals.
But we do dine out on occasion. And sometimes when my wife is in town (she works 4 days a week), she'll pick up some take out like Mexican or Thai. I also like the meatball sandwiches from one particular place. And another place has good fish sandwiches.

Never, because these don't exist here. If I order takeout, I get it directly from the place.

I ordered sushi, and when I went to pick it up, they gave me the wrong order. They gave me an order for someone named Abbie. When I called them about it, they told me Abbie had come to pick up her order and they had to make her a new one, and that I could keep mine and then come and get my original one. To make up for the error, they gave me a gift check for my order. But I think I was really at fault, taking the order and not checking for the name on it (on the receipt).

I never have. I drive myself if I need takeout food. The fees and tip would double the cost and that makes zero sense to me. I'd rather just make a sandwich.

Never. Going out to eat is one of my joys. If I stay in, I'm cooking, also a joy. Also, in today's world, I don't trust anyone bringing food to me. I worry about some restaurant kitchens too.
