I'm sure your medical condition plays a big part of why you can't eat anything. Notice I said can't eat and not won't eat. There is a difference.
I have eating difficulties too. I am an older lady, but I remember getting upset that every four or five hours, Mom would come outside and tell me it was time to eat. I told myself that God should have made people like cars - you just fill the tank once a week.
When I was a young girl I used to pick up my food with my fingers. The thought of silverware going in my mouth grossed me out. Like I would like mashed potatoes and mix corn in them, then scoop them up with my fingers like when you scoop chips in dip.
I couldn't put my finger on the reasons I hated to eat. But now that I am old and still have tummy troubles I think part of it is I hate the smell of food, and maybe I have an allergy to food.
I have a horrible stomach condition called gastroparesis. My whole digestive tract is really slow. It takes food forever to finally go down. Like 8 or more hours. It is painful too. So, please tell me what foods are acceptable to you and if you think you would like someone to feed them to you, or if you would prefer to eat with just your fingers?
I want to help you because you must eat something or drink Ensure nutritional drinks each day. They come in different flavors.
Tell me please something that your mouth will accept and that you can swallow.
Guess what? I eat the exact same thing everyday. This past 30 days or so, I have my friend pick me up a Subway egg sandwich with a whth a cut up avacado and mayonnaise on it. That's all I want. Nothing else. It is keeping me alive and avacado is making me have some energy too.
Write back to me please. I will follow you and you follow me and we can private message each other.
Take care🌺

No, I am the same. If I could just pop a pill and feel full, I would probably do it. I don't even like the taste of most food.
My crush went on vacation to visit her family. I convinced her roommate to let me into her room so I could leave a surprise for her. I took a bag of Hershey’s kisses and went to her panty drawer and put a Hershey’s kiss inside all of her panties.. the punchline that I was going to give on the night that she came back was “are you I hear you have something creamy and sweet in your panties“. And then I was just going to see what happened.
She was on a hike through the hills with her brother, and she fell off a cliff and landed in the stream about 20 feet down. Unconscious and underwater.. her brother got to rain time and saved her. She woke up in the hospital. They ran some tests. She had a mild concussion. The interesting thing is that she no longer like chocolate. It made her nauseous as soon as she saw the chocolate she took it as a sign from God that we were not meant to be.
I feel the same way. Food doesn't interest me at all. I eat , but only because I have to. Nothing appeals to me anymore.

This seems pretty normal to me. In America, our store's delis sale chicken loaf luncheon meat and I remember I was little I ate too much chicken loaf over my grandma's house and I burped up chicken loaf and from that day on I will not eat chicken loaf luncheon meat from the deli so see everyone has a story.
It has happened to me a few times that I lost my appetite temporarily but then eventually it came back.
I would say it's normal for us to wish we could just live without eating.
But if one is saying you don't experience those moments of getting a takeaway, smelling it's pure tastiness and then eating it to regret it afterwards then I would say that's not normal lol. It's definitely unusual, but I'm kind of the same way. It's not that I dislike food, it's that I don't particularly care for most food that I eat. If I didn't need to eat, I mostly wouldn't.
was long long time ago, but yes, I do know very well how that feels... thank you depression
Nope. It's not.
Same for me.
It's actually related to stress.Nah, a lot of people have that; As long as you do get hungry. Otherwise you should check with a doctor.
Well ill admit sometimes i wish i could just eat one simple thing to curb my hunger but when its with family i do enjoy eating.
I wouldn’t call you weird though
My sister and I have always been this way. Sure we like certain foods and their taste, but eating is more something we see as necessary for survival.
Its sounds psychological to me. I'm not a psychologist, so I'm not qualified to answer.
well yes a little but its just a bit sad is all when someone is sick. its not like OMG that girl doesn't like eating becky come here you have to see this
Yes, it’s weird. Although, it doesn’t really sound like you don’t enjoy eating per se. It sounds like your condition makes eating more difficult, and you are experiencing some frustration from the discomfort that it causes.
you need to go to a doctor then. i doubt you're getting much nutrients and plus you're miserable.
I don't think it is common. I am the same way. It is more common for people with adhd and autism to feel that way.
It sounds like you have a medical condition.
It's weird because everyone loves it and it's a need.
Its normal. Most food today is garbage
