Two of the most popular types of Asian cuisine, which is your favorite?
Japanese. It's more nutritious than most westernized Chinese food here. Chinese food has a lot of starch and message. Sushi is amazing too. I like all Japanese food, pretty much, and I can't say that about Chinese food. Chicken feet and 100 year old eggs, for example. 🤮

Food that looks like a geometry exam is as appealing as food that looks like a kitchen vomited into a bowl.
Actually I love both and add Thai and other eastern style dishes when I'm cooking - traditional recipes as far as possible. It just depends what I'm in the mood for. My sushi skills are more in the eating than preparing areas, but my Pad Thai and Chop Suey are improving.
Bella I would have to pick Chinese food. I don't really know about Japanese food other than I think sushi is Japanese. I've never had a desire to eat sushi either.
I will tell you something else though. After your question about Sun Chips I had to go to the grocery store and got a bag of Garden Salsa flavor.

Not big on chinese food. The few times i crave it, it still tastes disappointing. Iโm gonna try Japanese food next month. I hope it doesn't disappoint

I like both but I picked Japanese since Chinese food makes me gassy.
Japanese food. There's a fantastic Japanese restaurant in Manhattan that has phenomenal food. Plus I know (or I'm at least making an educated guess) that it's also high quality and authentic (or really close to authentic), because I see a large number of Japanese Americans and Japanese tourists eating there all the time. I can't imagine that a Japanese restaurant would be as popular as it is with the Japanese population if the food was mediocre.
I only had one experience with Chinese food and one with Japanese food. To be honest, I liked Japanese food more. But since I only had one experience with each, I'm not sure if I'm being fair... 🤷🏾โโ๏ธ
There's a wide variety of Chinese food which is good.
But, Japanese food always.
Japanese.. I only had chinese food when I was in China and that was like 15 years ago so dont remember..
I prefer japanese... because I know japanese aaand also sushi. :D And ramen. :P
@beebella 🐝 I love Japanese and Chinese food and will always devour either/both.
Chinese food and the salad bar
Damn tough choice. I think Chinese edges out japanese just slightly. I think i just like more things with Chinese food than i do japanese.
I have never had Japanese food so I am going with Chinese.
Chinese, but not the junk in those pictures! It's damn near impossible to find authentic and good tasting Chinese food unless you live somewhere with a vibrant Chinatown. Most of it is Americanized shit elsewhere.
Japanese has never disappointed, Chinese can be really good or really bad
I prefer Japanese. It is very flavorful, and well-made and presented.
Chinese is more Americanized. And what we probably eat most
Korean grills...
Japanese, I'm in Tokyo :D
Theyโre both good.
Chinese, but not by much.
Japanese steak but Chinese food
