Do you like Japanese or Chinese food better?

I like Chinese food slightly better. There's more varieties I believe and ways to cook their food. I've eaten roasted duck in the past and it was delicious. I've also eaten fried rice and dimsum! Deelish! Their diet has more fried and cooked stuff compared to Japanese food I believe.. but don't quote me on it.

I don't really like raw fish because one time (in 2018) I ate day old Poke Bowl, but it gave me salmonella when I ate the raw fish. That was stupid of me to do. Thank god it didn't give me really hurting stomach cramps, just did the liquid bathroom thing lol.

I do like Shrimp and Vegetable Tempura though and whenever I would crave Japanese food like that, I would get the Bento Box. THAT I like!

I only had authentic Chinese food in Taiwan, and wasn't thrilled. I've gone to more traditional Japanese and Chinese restaurants in the States before and wasn't thrilled either. Most of my experience has been fushion food, in which case, "Japanese", especially Teriyaki chicken never disappoints, so I will say Japanese. Though I will admit, authentic Chinese dumplngs are to die for

I prefer Chinese even though I'm from Japan. Also lots of Japanese food is borrowed from China (mapo tofu, ramen, gyoza, chahan, shumai, hiyashi chūka, etc).

I mean real Chinese food though, not that greasy stuff they serve in Americanized Chinese restaurants. Like traditional Chinese banquets that serve dinner on cānzhuō zhuànpán:

Chinese, for the most part. Not into some of the weird seafood in a lot of Japanese food.

Though there are some pretty gross Chinese foods. When I was in Szechuan province they sold raw rabbit skulls to gnaw on.
