Have you ever had poutine?

I've never had poutine before. But I'd guess it's just their version of loaded fries, just a bit of a different twist on it. I'd probably try it, I'd imagine it'd be pretty salty tasting. But hey, I love cheesy fries with cheese, bacon, and sour cream, so who's to say that isn't also salty as well?
Mhmmm in a restaurant 😋
Do you like it?

We just call it "cheesy chips and gravy" in the UK. Not every chip shop does it and some in the south don't even do gravy. Cheesy chips and gravy is popular in South east wales where they sometimes replace the gravy with curry.
Personally I'm not a fan of poutine
What kind of cheese do they usually use? Do they use cheese curds in the U. K? That's what distinctively makes it poutine is the use of cheese curds.
At home most people would probably just use any hard cheese but I think shops use mozzarella
I had the opportunity to sample poutine in Montreal.
This food is guaranteed to give you very high cholesterol and with every bite you take, you remove one week of your life.
But that garbage is heavenly. However, if in Montreal, try the second best food that is typical from there and that is smoked meat sandwich from Schwartz's.
I've never heard of that. Might try it one day
I had it for the first time this year, when I visited Montreal. It was good. It was a poutine topped with smoked ham and bacon, for an extra nitrate punch.
Not something I would want to eat regularly, but I"m glad I tried it.
It looks very... American. Like something McDonalds would dream up. Didn't the French recently change the name of this dish because it sounds too much like "Putin"?
For fries (which are, after all, potatoes), gravy makes a better dip or topping than does ketchup, the typical American accessory to fries.
No, but I would love to! It looks so delicious! 😋😋
I know I'm going to try it if I ever go to Canada.
Oh, you betcha'! 🇨🇦😁 I don't have it often, but it is delicious! I'm lucky there are many places to get poutine where I am.
I have. Iโm half French-Canadian. Now Iโm hungry. Awesome.
Yes! I had it so many times when I was in Montreal :)
I love poutine, I like them with the Jackdaniels pulled pork. I made it myself too!
Many times. Possibly too mant times, if such a thing can be said.
No but I've watched a comedy show where Jim Gaffigan makes some poutine jokes.
On a trip to Canada I did have some "Timbits" at Tim Hortons.
I didn't know they were called that. The clerk seemed confused when I ordered "Donut Holes"
Don't think I have but it looks delicious.. 😋..
You can't go to Montreal without trying poutine
Absolutely not! I was in Quebec for almost a week, and had no intention of trying it.
Love it. There is a restaurant in my town that has it occasionally.
I've never eaten this before. but they look delicious
nope... but I would sure try it, no doubt
No, I don't eat garbage.
