So what was your last never again purchase?

Why in the hell would anyone make tiramisu cheese? Of any kind? 😨
As for myself, I can't think of the last thing I had I didn't like, but in general I don't like anything with fennel in it. 🤢 I like fennel seed, just not the fresh plant itself. I can't do it. Another is either marjoram or tarragon, but I can't remember exactly which one it is. lol I wish I could remember, but one of them just has a flavour that turns my stomach, and one of them I don't mind so much.
Wasn't tiramisu made of cheese? Why did they feel the need of making it? 😅😅
I tried kimchi, but the restaurant I went to did not follow the original recipe and decided to add vine leaves in it. All I can say is pickled vine leaves taste horrible.
It was Purple Carrot's vegan udon noodle bowl. The noodles were good, but the fake crumbles were spicy.

Sea cucumber. It was a textural thing for me, because I don't think it actually had much flavor. I've eaten grilled rat on a stick before that was actually pretty tasty, so when I say something is a "never again" that is saying something.
There is a type of seeded fruit in China that is red and is the size of two kidney beans put together. I do not like the way it tastes but my mom and aunts love it.
I ate at a new restaurant near me just to try it. I had some pasta dish that I couldn't even pronounce and it was horrible. The waitress said it was the best thing on the menu. I won't be going back there ever again
Salted mayonaisse, it tasted really similar to something I've always liked the taste of, but lacked an aftertaste,,,
This is a straight up abortion. For someone who absolutely loves tiramisu this hurts my heart.
Hmmm, that I didn’t like? An eggplant dip on Sunday. It must have had goat cheese in it. Love eggplants, hate goat cheese.
Meatballs. They seemed delicious on the tv but I didn't quite enjoy it
Haggis… I was at a caper toss and tried some…. Not a fan at all…. This was about two years ago.
I stopped trying new foods because I hated them all.
Why would you eat that? I knew you were deranged

Polenta
Is it the texture?
There's a reason pasta and pizza took off globally but polenta stayed in Italy.
Polenta is not just Italy but it is definitely very odd.
@Adventurer23 texture is alright a bit gritty rather like grits (the shittier version of oatmeal) the bigger issue is flavor or lack there of. It is basically granulated corn meal loosely shaped. No salt, pepper no seasoning of any kind really. All around it was one of the worst things I have eaten in Europe
@jacobjordan Ah, I see. Cooked like that I agree it's not appealing at all. I used to hate polenta for many of the same reasons, but that's before I learned how to make it right. Other times I'd had it, it was very plain and sometimes it was even just like a sliced, firm puck of flavourless polenta. No thanks! lol But it doesn't have to be bland like that at all. You can also cook it similar to how you make risotto, which is how I make it now. It's a little like mashed potatoes, but much more flavourful, and not like grits at all. But you can make it many different ways with many different flavours too. It can be an amazingly tasty as a side dish or even on top of certain roasted or grilled meats as a pairing. I could make a polenta recipe for you that would completely change your mind about it, as it completely changed my opinion of what polenta can be. I used to hate it, but that's only because I was having the bland, uninspired version of it like you've had, which seems to be way too prevalent. 😝
