Never heard of it, so looked it up and yes you can buy it if selective wine places. Below is what I found out about it.

Ripple came out in the `70's, possibly the very late `60's. I think it was kind of a budget wine because a lot of wino bums loved it because it was really cheap. I'm no boozer, I'm just going by the jokes that were made about it. Robin Williams joked about combining it with something else calling it, Rampipple. I can only guess that they still make it.
My brother used to do Mad Dog 20/20 and said it was REALLY strong.
Thunderbird was another one the winos loved.

ππ I was just coming on to say this! Even at my age, I love that show. Itβs on TV Land (I think). Itβs hilarious.
@Beckybooboo Yes, I love that show too. Fred Sanford he made that show what it was and Aunt Ester she would call Fred a sucker. He put his arms and hands up like he was going to punch her, but he never hit her. Lol
The best, is when Julio moved next door with his goat. π
@Beckybooboo Oh my gosh yeah hahaha

Grady was the best.
Ripple may call itself a wine but no sommelier is ever going to serve it. I've tasted it... when I was younger. It's also called Rot Gut.
I'm not sure if I'm remembering someone having some or just from Fred. Ha, ripple.
stopped its production
I have drank it
Was the one in he pictures - the 70s kind? How did it taste if it was
