How much alcohol does it take you to get drunk?

I quit drinking alcohol towards the end of last year but it was getting pretty bad. I suppose it depends on what we mean by "drunk". In my worst cases, I was going through 2 bottles of 100-proof whiskey (1.5 liters) along with beers and sometimes a whole bottle of wine on top. I probably got drunk way before that although I could no longer tell when I crossed that threshold until it was typically too late and I did something incredibly stupid.

My friends who tried to match me drinking wise shot for shot always ended up reaching a point where they'd get so drunk and I'd have to carry them home. My alcohol tolerance has always been incredibly high but my ability to control my drinking and avoid crossing my limits piss poor. It just took a lot to cross the limit but I'd practically always do it.

I would say maybe around twenty 45ml tequila shots might be where I start really feeling it and starting to slur my speech a bit if my tolerance hasn't become much lower since I quit drinking. 20 large shots is around when I would really start to feel the alcohol kick in. I'd usually go for 30-50 before I called it a night but 20 was around when I started to really feel it.

Also depends on how short of a time. Like 20 tequila shots in a single hour would probably have me vomiting in the toilet. When I was drinking heavily, I did it over many hours, sometimes 24+ hours. So 50 tequila shots might sound insane but if we distribute that over 24 hours, it's only a couple shots per hour. If I tried to drink 50 tequila shots in one hour, I'd probably end up in a hospital.

When I was your age, I often went to nightclub at around 10 PM Friday, drink all night, then club closes at 6 AM, then go to bar (I had connections) that was officially closed but remained open for select people, then underground night club also for select people until 2 PM Saturday, then go to rave in Yoyogi park in Tokyo until night time, then grab some food like some pizza, then go to night club again at 10 PM. No sleep the whole time although I'd usually pass out by Sunday morning on a park bench.

One of the problems for me and I heard it's true of people with alcoholic tendencies is that alcohol actually functions like a stimulant rather than a depressant. I get energized by alcohol; it's more powerful of an energizer to me than even Red Bull or Espressos. So I literally tended to drink until my body just couldn't physically continue anymore.

I very seldom drink alcohol and thus I don't know how much it would take for me to be intoxicated.

I take a third of a glass of wine at Christmas to celebrate with my family and 1/3 of another glass on New Year's eve and those are the 2 occasions I consume alcohol.

Given the fact that I practically don't drink alcohol, I would presume that it does not take much to get me tipsy. However, this is not something I am likely to ever try. My opinion is that you don't need to drink a single drop of alcohol in order to have fun. Furthermore, being sober has nothing but advantages.

No clue honestly. For how much it could take wouldn't be allowed by my med though. I've never gotten drunk before so I really wouldn't know how many it'd take, but let's not find out.

More than 3 drinks. I’ve been tipsy but never drunk, never had more than 3 drinks in a night tho

Half a bottle of spirits (14 units/shots/350ml) will leave me drunk but controlled enough to keep my stomach contents down and be able to get to bed

8-12 beers in a couple of hours depending on what it is. Half of a 40% 750ml in a couple of hours will get me going.
