they seemed to want people to know they were open this weekend and hours but it came across as really dull ( only used 1 colour and featured no pictures of bar itself or drinks/food. )
and customer base seemed to entirely ignore it or rejected it , it only got 20 likes ( and some of those were staff ) , that is kinda pitiful right? from a page followed by over 3400 accounts
are the customers actually annoyed at the bar or just annoyed at the social media page for it? it also posts a lot of annoy food posts like everyday but since there posted as stories i don't know how many likes they get but suspect its very few.

So social media uses algorithms to show posts that you've interacted with often. How its used for this post is hard to determined but just cause someone is following that bar doesn't mean its post shows up on their daily quick view. Nor is it highlighted for all 3400 followers to see. Not to mention that most followers maybe don't scroll on social media as often as one would want nor spends too long on it these days.
If they want to reach out, they should send a notification to all followers.
well i though the same too , that perhaps a lot of its followers don't pay attention to the instagram page much so it wasn't even appearing on there feed or at least not high up on it so they might not of even saw it when it was posted.
the manager is always making these endless food posts , wouldn't be surprised a lot of people are ignoring the bars posts now cause of it and don't bother to click on its stories anymore thinking its just another food post
Precisely. If the food posts are unique or posted in a certain way to capture people's interaction, that's one thing, but you can't go far with just posting photos of foods without receiving any larger appreciation. A lot of people have realised the importance of social media and are getting onboard. Problem is not knowing it nor how to interact with its audience. That's a key a lot of owners in all industries have to grasp!
whats weird is the manager of this bar has a diploma in advertising yet she doesn't seem to know how social media works , although she would of went to college around 2011-13 so that was a bit before instagram really got big so maybe she wasn't taught back then about this
but she seems so lost , the endless food posts just don't make sense to me and doubt they really get peoples attention or bring people through the door
like 21 likes should be a huge red flag that bars social media is not working and not getting peoples attention in the right way
Algorithm is a hit or a miss sadly
i think a lot of people weren't seeing it cause there ignoring posts from this bar cause manager makes endless food posts so when she suddenly makes a more important post no one see's it cause they ignore her posts
