It has nothing to do with age... in Europe in some countries even children drink it with dinner (not that I approve of it). You can also get alcohol free wine.

You either like it off the bat, or you need to drink it a few times to appreciate it. I belong to the second group. Even in my old age (lol) I don't care for it as much as my friends did when they were your age or younger, it's a matter of taste.

White and rose wines are easier to drink than red wine.

I was drinking wine at 7 years old.. Not much, but whenever my parents made a party, I'd be allowed to stay up and have just a very small glass of that sweet red stuff.

My parents' reasoning for it was that when I was 18, I wouldn't have the fascination of knowing what it was like to go mad on alcohol.. They were spot on because I've never been drunk.. EVER!
