I don't discuss my tips cause the bible says people who talk about the tips they give are doing it for recognition and not for social responsibility reasons.
Oh you mean when they make me a coffee and hand it to me? Not when I am being served? To that I don't always do since they don't always have a tipping glass and there are times I have been told that the additional money doesn't go to them, but stays in the business.
The only food place I've been to that wasn't a sit down restaurant is a place called Georgios a BBQ place in the hood in a city 45 mins from where I live. And considering it's a private small business they're all paid by the hour so no real reason to tip em they have that option anyway I don't think.
Some of the people who we tip makes more than we do (excluded waiters), sometimes the tips don’t even go to the person. We are becoming a tip happy nation/world.
Tipping is not usual in the UK, because tips do not go toward staff wages, though if you feel you have received exceptional service you my tip if you wish.
Yeah, I think it kinda depends on the society and environment. If the people are only making wages that are like one-third of minimum wage because they are tipped employees, I'm more likely to tip.

Yes. Ever since I started making my own money I always tip.

I make note of places that ask for tips and try to avoid returning.

No, all this tip jar stuff is BS. And worse is being asked for a tip and prompted for a default percentage if I pay by card.
OK, if I pay cash and the amount of change isn't worth bothering with I'll throw it in the tip jar.
No what the point if all I'm doing is eating at a fast food place.
Tipping is a STUPID USA American custom that needs to go away. Instead it just gets worse and everybody wants a tip Just for doing their job.
Tip is for being served, hopefully for being well attended to, and not for providing food.
I usually don't but I gat takeout at a local mom and pop subshop. I always leave a couple of bucks in the tip jar.
I do but not as much as if I were sitting down for a meal. I may only do 15%.

They actually pay people a respectable wage here, so tipping is not really a thing.

I only tip where I get service at a sit down restaurant, or delivery.. If it's drive through, or walk up, really anything else no top
UK here. We don't generally tip if there's no table service. I actively avoid going anywhere where I might be expected to leave a tip. I'm a tightwad.
I don’t even tip at a sit down restaurant. I live in a country where servers get paid a fair wage and tipping is not expected.
On occasion I do. Especially if the meal and service were great. Its pretty much the italian way.
To quote Curly of the Three Stooges,"Why soitany !!!"
Depends on the context but I will not tip a cashier who hands me something
I don't tip if I'm not at a sit down restaurant.
