3 years ago an item that cost $25-30 is now $75-80 at my store. Many food items are costing a lot more than even last year. Are you seeing it where you live or is it more stable?

I don't really think so. Germany has always been a very competitive food/groceries market, the people expect quality at lower prices. Meat and fish have gone up maybe 15%, but most items stayed the same or at most increased 3-5%. Delivery services and restaurant prices have gone up because of a heated real estate market and the expensive fuel prices.

Currently we have slight deflation in food prices, even though our government increased VAT for basic food products from 0 to 8% since 1. April. At some pint the margin starts to fall if prices are too high, it's self regulation of the market.

biggest supermarket chain... last year pre tax profits 800 million now add 1.5 FRICKEN billion... totalling TWO>THREE TRILLION pre tax profits... just reported... thats two years worth of profit on top on the actual year so three years worth of last years... this is allowed instant search do they pay uk tax they do not operate with known tax havens just for the sole purpose of realising tax savings... vage as f.. k londinium financial self rule... so if they owned a tax accountant company in the same haven this would exempt them from stashing their money BECAUSE it only has to be not the one and only sole purpose... a large bag of demerara sugar went from 1.80 to 2.80 plus but lidl and adli sell it for the original price... the major corps that own about 95% of the market between 2 to 3 have made enormous profits beyond belief... in the uk they rushed through the future plan of a cashless society COVID was the biggest scam ever... the whole world of leaders took it propel their agendas... money was dirty, infected, they instantly jumped the limit to 100 contactless... another tactic here was asda another supermarket removed majority of their own brand cheaper products forcing a purchase more expensive despite people being poorer so spending less ideally but forced to spend more or go without... i feel like i am living in a time of such immense evil and greed and it has most likely happened over and over for more cycles than we will ever know... so its a more expensive carrot but the price inflation is a true reflection of the world order.. the end

Yes and no. It’s just myself and one teen, so it’s not too bad. I work full time and live within my means. No child support or government housing. I work hard and buy sales. No visa and limited monthly payments

I have more than enough money but the prices are eye opening at times. I tip heavier than 20% now and tip repair people just so people can have something to ease the pain.
