Is starbucks hot chocolate good?

We do not use powder nor real chocolate to make our hot chocolate. We use a mocha & vanilla syrup that is made daily with a combination of sugar, a blend of powdered cocoas & other ingredients. Our hot chocolate is made by steaming milk (2% is standard), pumping the mocha and vanilla syrups , and finally pouring the milk over the syrup/sauce and swirling so it melts. We then top with whipped cream and mocha drizzle.

Typically all places that sell hot chocolate will have a syrup of some sort. Powders clog up the milk steaming wand. My work (not Starbucks) mixes Cadburys hot chocolate powder with water which gets put into squeezy bottles. The chocolate syrup is poured into the cup and the steamed milk poured over that.

Not for the money. I think Starbucks should be boycotted out of business. They’re buying their stock from underdeveloped nations, for a pittance. Then charging obscene amounts of money for a patently cheap product, and closing stores just so they don’t have to pay their workers a living wage. That “business model” SHOULD be criminal, but this is capitalism for you. Greed is religion and currency is God.

It's powder. I go to an actual chocolate place. In my home state it was Lake Champlain chocolates. In Europe I have no idea how to write it lol
