How bad is hot chocolate for your health?

I crave it cause I’ve been having a productive day. I am trying to drop weight before my vacation.

How much sugar are you taking in with your daily intake? Sugar can cause the most weight gain. Pastas and breads. No hot chocolate or any kind of chocolate will cause you to gain weight. It's the sugars and and starches which causes weight gain. Starches produce sugars. When your body does not process the starches you start gaining weight.

What I do is buying pure cocoa powder. When I make a smoothie sometimes I put a spoon of it.

It tastes the same, yet it is way healthier.

Most of the time improving diet is just about finding alternatives that taste as good, but are healthier.

Too much of anything is bad for you. But if u do a little cup o chocolate every day and u feel great about it, keep goin 👌 When your body starts feelin bloated or somethin, back off a little. Maybe switch to green tea or vanilla chai or somethin. Or one cup of hot chocolate every other day.

Too much of anything isn't good for you. But having a single hot chocolate isn't going to make you gain weight.
