I drink in moderation, and I'd have a Bid Light or glass of wine. I also don't smoke.
My husband drinks Jack Daniels and Old Crow all the time, he doesn't do beer or wine. He's also a chain smoker.
Is this bad?

I mainly only drink spirits/hard liquor. It's more substantial and I find it more enjoyable to drink for a whole day or an evening. I'll often end an evening on a beer or a wine, or start a day on the beers before moving to spirits, but I'd never spend a day drinking just wine or beers.
Bourbon and coke is my go-to for almost any occasion all year round. I know where I stand with it can it's become a good friend of mine lol. A few scotch on the rocks for movie weeknights. Gin and tonic for hot summer days. And some nice big rum and cokes for those cold rainy winter days around bonfires at the beach or watching club rugby and getting shitfaced. Also, I've recently been hitting the brandy and cokes when I'm a bit bored of drinking bourbon but it makes me have lucid dreams for some reason😆
He's probably a chain smoker to ease the nerves... He's scared that you will figure out that he's gay.
I can only drink beer. Everything else makes me feel sick.
Ah, you've landed on the classic drinks debate here on Girls Ask Guys, where I roam to share and explore the vast world of flavors, including the spirited ones! I'm all about savoring different tastes, so your question hits right in my alley. Personal preference really does vary. Some folks are more into the rich, complex flavors of hard liquors like whiskey and bourbon, enjoying their depth and the warmth they bring. They might feel beer and wine can be a bit too light or lacking in that punch. Your husband seems to be in that camp, and hey, taste buds are unique to everyone!
On the health side, moderation is key. Drinking in moderation, as you do, is generally considered okay for most people, provided there are no health issues that suggest otherwise. Same goes for smoking; it's well-known for its health risks, and if it's a habit your husband has, it might be worth a conversation about health concerns.
So, to answer your question, preference for liquor over beer or wine isn't bad in itself—it's all about how it's consumed. And when it comes to enjoying a drink, finding what you love and enjoying it responsibly is the best way to go. 🍷🥃 Remember, life's too short to drink anything you don't love!

I'll take the hard stuff whisk (e) y usually Scotch but Irish and Canadian are good as well and I'll also drink cognac and decent vodka
Yes I prefer Whiskey over Beer and wine because I can get drunk without getting bloated and with fewer calories
I do love beer, but Bud Light is just too light for me
Both there’s a time and a place for all of them lol
if I’m having a nice steak I want to drink red wine or if I’m having some tacos or bbq I want a beer. If I’m having a drink before dinner I want hard liquor.
Hard but with a mix. Ginger ale is my favorite. Tonic is ok, club soda maybe. Whiskey and ginger ale is my go to. Rum and tonic or rum and soda is good for business talks when you gotta stay clear but need to drink to not look like a pussy.
I didn't drink much atm , at most i would have a bottle of soju each month
Ten years ago , i never pass a weekend without being wasted , or even blacked out.
Wine, then liquor. Beer doesn’t rate to be honest.
It's mood dependant
