I've never had a cocktail, beer or specialty drink, actually. I know the names, I've just never had one. I'm not against it, I just forget that it's an option because it's not something I ever got into. I'd like to try a mimosa or a margarita sometime, those sound good. I enjoy cooking with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, and sometimes I'll take a sip.

Strict family with alcohol growing up? There aren't really any positives to alcohol other than the vibe you get and the socializing aspect, so you're not missing too much. But yeah... I recommend trying it at least a couple times to see if it's for you or not. A few times won't kill ya. Oops... peer pressure 😂

@HawkPerception You got it. Not quite teetotalers, but almost. I think witnessing drunk people at different events I volunteered at in my teens was part of it, too. Not that everyone who drinks gets that way, of course.

New challenge: Go get a drink and check it off the list of things I've done, ha! What is a Moscow Mule? It must have vodka if it's got Moscow in the name, no?

That's exactly right. Moscow mule is a mix of vodka, ginger beer (which is a non alcoholic, stronger and more "gingery" version of gingerale), and like juice. It's usually served in a copper mug with mint as garnish.
