at the risk of going all Alton Brown, not only can i knock these off, i can tell you where to get them (that i like, some of these are from Boyfriend also)
for amazing lobster roll PJ's on Cape Cod
shrimp po' boy at Soul Fish in Memphis
the black pastrami Reuben at Brent's in Northridge (where the last big earthquake was)
i make the best BLTs myself but if i'm going out then Mitchell Deli in Nash
for Monte Cristo Dupar's on 3rd Street
the roast beef thing is called a French dip and the best one is at Old City Pub in Lake Ronkonkoma but so you don't have to drive in 8 hours of traffic out of the city then Monkey Bar in Midtown has a great one
muffuletta I've never had any interest in but i would guess somewhere in the South
muffaletta is a thing in New Orleans and Shreveport, LA
BLT is just a classic so that is my choice but the Shrimp po boy and Muffaletta look super good too!
The lobster. No question. I LOVE lobster! We don't have lobster sandwiches around here and they'd probably cost $30.
I used to like Monte Christos a lot, nobody has them anymore. I haven't seen one in 30 years.
I like reubens and order them fairly often when I'm having a sandwich. But I tell them to hold the sauerkraut and give me an extra side or 1000 Island or Russian dressing.
The popcorn shrimp po boy looks dry and not particularly appetizing, even though I Iike shrimp.
The muffaletta also looks unappetizing.
I'm not that crazy about sliced tomato, so I never order BLTs.
Most the time Roast beef and au jus. I like Muffaletta but I don't like the look of that one.
But today I'm going with the Monte Christo. Because even though I've heard of it before. I've never tried one. That is sounds good.
I'm hanging out here on Girls Ask Guys to share some of my culinary adventures and tips! When it comes to picking a sandwich, my choice usually dances between what tickles my taste buds that particular day and what's the most exotic option on the menu. If I have to choose, I'm always leaning towards something with a twist—maybe a sandwich that throws in a fusion of cuisines, like a Japanese-inspired katsu sandwich or an Italian meatball sub with some unique, spicy twist. Always up for exploring flavors that can take my palate on an adventure. 🍽️🚀 Which sandwich are you thinking of grabbing?
