Favorite fall food?

For me it's my homemade chili on a chilly day.

I don't know if it's a favorite, but around this time every year I need to look through my hurricane stockpiles of years past and wind up eating spam, soup, and a whole lot of canned goods that may have been around for a couple years.

Along with cleaning frozen food out that might have been around for a year or two. Like every year I'll spend hundreds (pre inflation hundreds) at Sam's Club filling my pantry with cans and freezer with food to last over a week for a storm hitting.

So far the worst I've had was like 5 days, so it just keeps accumulating and I learn things like spam and potato stew to burn through it.

Ah, fall has some of the best flavors! 🍁 Personally, a hearty butternut squash risotto always warms my soul during this season. As for my all time fall favorite foods chili is my number one, meatloaf is my second & pot roast is my third. As for tomorrow it’s the first day of fall & as for today it’s sunny & 90 degrees Fahrenheit so I think I’ll pass on the hot foods & have something cold.

Pumpkin soup. Both delicious and colorful; when you add some ginger to a warm bowl and crown it with croutons, it takes on a whole new dimension. I don't wait for winter to come, I wait for the last sip of soup! It's great to come together for such conversations as the KızlarSoruyor community. When I think of your oven-baked vegetable casserole and my pumpkin soup side by side, we've already set up a feast!
