In the UK we call those places Wetherspoons. I'm pretty convinced even the chips are nuked in the microwave
Ewww
Nuked is a good word...
If it tastes good, I don’t give a fuck how they cooked it lol.
I work at Olive Garden and some foods are microwaved. Technically it’s a restaurant grade microwave, it’s not the same as the ones we have at home.
but sides of steamed broccoli, microwaved. Spinach artichoke dip, microwaved before going into the oven. Certain sauces are kept cold and cooked to order and they microwave them sometimes if they need it on the fly.
Some of them do, depending on what is being done with a particular food.
If I am paying $200 a plate for a full-scratch big name restaurant, I wouldn't expect microwaved food, simply because that sort of cooking calls for other techniques.
Quick-stop place will used a steam-press or a micro to put the "finishing touches" on many dishes, though, totally in line with expectations of those places.
Depends on how much you paid... Dennys and rickies restaurants are mostly from frozen. (, I am a chef) and for most part even fancy restaurants have some easier things ready to warm in oven
Microwave is gross though , so I personally wouldn't be happy... but. you get what y paid for...
Discovering a restaurant relies solely on microwaves would be quite disappointing. There's something special about the sizzle of a stovetop or the aroma from an oven that microwaves just can't replicate. I remember a small trattoria in Rome where the chef handcrafted each dish with care; the flavors were vibrant and authentic, showcasing passion and tradition. Authentic preparation techniques preserve the story and soul of a dish, making the dining experience unforgettable. 🔥🍝

As long as it's not false advertizing—like they don't SAY it's fresh or hand made or any shit like that, then I'm already assuming it's just reheated somehow. Whether it's reheated with a stove, fryer, or microwave honestly not that big difference depending on food. If it tastes good then whatever.
If they lied then fucking spread the word ig, make the truth come out so others don't get tricked.
If the price is justified then okay. If the price is on higher side for that in the name of customer service then I'll never go there again.
Wouldn't be surprised that's how they warmed up some foods at my old job but hey if it tastes good then microwave away but it better be good
If I wanted microwave food I fix it at the house. It's not worth me going to spend good dollars.
I would sue that restaurant into the ground. And Gordon Ramsey would be my lawyer lol
I went into the restaurant because I wanted food. If the food was reasonable and value for money, I would be OK with it. If it wasn't I would complain like hell and put the restaurant on my banned list
I can tell. If it's my first time there, I don't go back again. But If I've been there many times and it's usually good then I write it off.
I swear Applebee’s does
Why do people support that shithole restaurant?
I'd just walk out and never go back. I can microwave food at home
As long As it Tastes Good and is Hot. xxoo
Not happy
I wouldn't go back
