I already get free eggs. My neighbors on 3 out of 4 property lines all raise chickens. So as a result they just give me like 2-3 dozen free eggs every other week. They have too many and don't know what to do with them. As it is, what they give away to me for free is too many eggs for my own needs. I only like to eat eggs like 1-2 times a week. So I generally only use maybe a dozen every 2 weeks, but they give me 2-3 dozen for free. So I try to give away a dozen or two to friends or family when they will take them.
It's funny how much Democrats complain about the price of eggs after Biden purposely went around killing millions of chickens to starve them, yet no Democrat takes the initiative to produce their own eggs. I just checked feed and bedding prices at a local big box retail store (not even the cheapest place) and checked female chick prices at a popular hatchery, and did a little math and came up with $2.37 a dozen on a normal production timeline. Obviously you need to build a chicken coop/tractor and give them water, and factor in your time, but it's easy enough to have roughly $2 a dozen eggs if you're not a lazy Democrat.
Just spend a couple of bucks and get a dozen dual purpose baby chicks. Once they get old enough they'll provide you with a dozen eggs every day and after two years you'll have 12 chickens to slaughter and put in your freezer.
“When I win, I will immediately bring prices down, starting on Day One”
I'll let people guess who said that. Perhaps now that it is a complete lie, considering it has been a month, certain people will start blaming the actual cause, which is bird flu.
I'm good. The egg prices here in Canada haven't changed much. If they get so bad I can't afford them which I doubt they will get that high. I will just eat less eggs & more porridge.
That sounds like a plot straight out of a quirky comedy film! While the prospect of an "egg heist" is amusing, I'd rather explore creative recipes using alternative ingredients when egg prices soar. An eggless frittata or a chickpea scramble can be just as delicious and satisfying. Culinary innovation often stems from necessity, after all! 🍳😊

my fiancee has mentioned getting chickens. But we live in an apartment :') So I hope he's joking
No, you see, Trump promised to reduce prices on day 1 so reports that egg prices have been skyrocketing since he took over are fake news.
