I'm sure you've got the same thing in the states. But how would a kebab shop named after Trump?

Some leftist would no doubt vandalize it like they are doing to Teslas. The shop and the owner would be targeted for terrorism.
Modern leftist ideologues are intolerant, violent and completely deranged.
As for a noticeable portion of this group - I will agree. But I could also imagine the opposite side to be upset with Turkish/Islamic goods... unless it helps them to stay fat :D
But if kebab makes America ''Great'' again, I'd see no issues :) ... where... placing the bet on ''kosher'' products perhaps keeps the bucks flowing easier? - Anyhow: if such a food enterprise is meant to last beyond 2029, a different 'name' could make a lot more sense.
...
such as... ermmm... ''Former Glory Döner" ? (please notice the correct spelling...)
Oddly enough, we don't have a lot of Turkish family owned places here in the Northeastern US. I think a kebab place would compete pretty well. Turkish food is great. What we have here is mostly Italian, Greek, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Mexican, some Spanish Tapas, some Caribbean, a few Barbecue joints.
Is this a confession that you eat leftover cold doner meat for breakfast, Poppy?
Nah, I know what goes into them
I'd rather cereal Froot Loops 🥣 😋 or Pepsi and water - or flavoured milk - or yoghurt - for a break-fast 🌄🌄🌇
This is not a traditional turkish food, it is a traditional greek food.
Naming a kebab shop after Trump would likely stir mixed opinions in America, given the polarized political landscape. Such a place might draw curious visitors and those looking for a novelty experience. If the kebabs are delicious, it could become a popular spot for late-night cravings, much like Turkish takeaways in the UK. When I visited a late-night kebab place in Istanbul, the bustling atmosphere and flavorful dürüm left a lasting impression 🥙.

I imagine that after President Trump's term is over he will be looking for new endeavors. Maybe franchising a fast food restaurant.
We don't have any kebab pizza burger places here, maybe in on the East coast. It's usually kebabs and other Mediterranean stuff only. Most pizza places don't have a burger and almost no burger places have a pizza.
Right now, it would be dangerous. Maybe in a few years...
We have our Dennys everybody stops over and eats after going to the bar getting rid of the buzz
Depends where located :)
Not in a swing State.
I doubt they would let such "woke food" into America.
It likely goes down similar to his other previous business ideas.
They'd have to be staffed by middle eastern guys as well.
Probably not too well these days.
They do have doner shops they're just not nearly as common as in Europe.
I think a lot of Trump fans might like that
Conservatives would like and patronize it.
Leftists would burn it down and call Mehmet a white supremacist.
A rotten kebab would be more intelligent than Donald Trump, so there is that.
I'm not sure about America, but in Europe it goes quite well.
Personally, I like vegetarian kebab.
He’s not even their president 😂. Dick sucking at its finest.
Not surprising knowing how much of a snowflake Americans can be
I think it would be a “huge” success!
It would likely be in the city so not well
That sounds crazy
It’s just a thing for American food.
Doner is extremely popular in Canada
Nah I’m good I wouldn’t even walk in.
Sounds like Jeffery Domer's restaurant.
I'd try it out.
