Do I think drinking through a straw makes a man effeminate? ROFL no, but I think anyone who worries about nonsense like that has some massive insecurities about his masculinity.

On the flip side, I was out last night with a group of maybe 20 people. And something hit me.

Side note: I get bored easily. My mind wanders.

So I had a beer. I had a glass of wine. No straws. I actually prefer to drink from a glass that way. Then I switched to a gin and tonic. Straws are apparently socially normal in that case. OK, don't know why drinking from the glass isn't the right thing to do. The ice? Then switched to a bourbon on the rocks. No straw. There goes the ice theory.

I just sat there looking around the group. No one seemed to be questioning the straw/ no straw decisions of the bartenders. I just thought to myself it was one of those odd things people do without ever thinking about it. I think about this stuff all the time.
