How do you feel about letting people drink out of your cup?

The other night my sis in law took a drink from my glass (she was curious how a Captain and Coke tasted), so I casually dumped it out and mixed another one. She saw me and was offended! She asked if I was repulsed by her. lol I said "not at all, it's just I have a thing about people drinking from my cup". She is a very clean person, so that isn't the issue. The only person I'll let drink from my cup, is my wife. How do you feel about sharing a drink?

It is disgusting! When I roofed summers, I would freeze gallon jugs of water and drink it as it thawed during the day. The problem was, everyone would drink from them, without asking! It pissed me off! So, I started buying bottled water for everyone and kept it in a cooler. I must have spent a couple hundred bucks doing it. I will let my wife share my drink. I don't have a problem if her sister would take a sip of my drink but not a guy or a girl I don't know very well.

I feel gross drinking from a bottle or glass that someone used their lips to drink.. except my SO

I also feel gross when someone else drinks from a glass that I used my lips to drink

I share it with my children and partner. Anyone else is a "time for a new drink" if they try sharing it.

Yeah, I have a hard time if my kids take a sip. They're so little I know they're getting slobber in it! I'll just give it to them.

I dont share drinks or food with others, my kids and partners included. It just gives me an ick factor that I can't shake. I will totally just give them my drink and go get another in a new glass. So I get your feelings on this.
