Is it a turn off to see a man drink an adult beverage through a straw?

I wouldn't drink beer through a straw, although I don't drink much beer anyway.

I like red wine but definitely would NEVER drink that through a straw.

I do like the occasional cocktail and a lot of them are intended to be sipped through a straw. And I don't care who thinks that's unmanly. I don't care about other people's hang ups. I do what I like.

Reminds me of a story an ex told me when she was dating before we met eachother. She'd met a guy at a cocktail bar and whatever drink he'd ordered came in a tumbler glass with a load of ice in it and a straw. Apparently he felt it'd be daft to use the straw and decided to try drink from the glass and just kept spilling ice in an effort to look more manly I guess

I used to date a mixologist, aka bartender, and you learn things like certain drinks are made to be drank through a straw. So is it a turn off, it shouldn't be, unless they're drinking something that really shouldn't be consumed with a straw. And if he's a friend, you definitely should make sure he knows what he looks like.

The only thing I drink through a straw is my girlfriend's drink when she's not looking, helps not to leave evidence on the glass. She can get pretty pissed when I do it.😜

For me its a turnoff to see him drink alcohol in general. Its not a dealbreaker like smoking would be, but its an absolute turnoff

Depends on the adult beverage. Some are meant to by consumed through a straw like most frozen beverages. Great. Now I want a strawberry milkshake with rum.
