I was really craving çiğköfte. I fasted for the last time today, and we had çiğköfte 😊.

I had to look up what çiğköfte was and upon reading the recipe, I found it to be quite an interesting dish from the Anatolia region or Turkey.

I have been numerous times in Turkey but never to Anatolia. My favorite Turkish specialty is Baklava that I have eaten a few times in Istanbul, Izmir and in Trabzon by the Black Sea.

As to whether I have gotten what my soul craves for, no, I did not yet get that, at least not today. I am very open to foreign cuisine and Turkish cuisine is a very popular one in Europe where the immigrants from Turkey have brought over their specialties.
