LOVE gyros! Oh man, when I get them fresh at Greek fest over the summer. 😋
Only one of those I make is the moussaka
What is Moussaka? I’ll have to look it up.
It's like lasagne but with aubergine and lamb instead of pasta and beef
The beauty of Greek cuisine lies in its simplicity and freshness. One of my favorites is moussaka, with its rich layers of eggplant and spiced meat topped with béchamel. I also adore tzatziki for its refreshing blend of yogurt, cucumber, and garlic. A memory that lingers is enjoying fresh grilled octopus by the azure waters of a small Greek island. 🍆🇬🇷

I voted for the gyros, and it's because I am not familiar with the names of greek foods and the only one I recognize is the gyros.
I am beginning to wonder if you work in the entertainment, hospitality, or catering industry, because based on your questions, you seem to be surprisingly knowledgeable about different cuisines. I love sampling cultural foods but I try to avoid foods I do not recognize because if it is something I don't know how to make myself, I can't predict how many calories are in the dish.

As much as I would love to say Pastitsio my inner fat kid is going to have to say Baklava instead.
About ten minutes away from where I live there is a small Greek restaurant & I had the Baklava there & it was out of this world. As for Pastitsio it seems a little dry to me & is it always dry? I’m going to find another Greek restaurant & try it there.
I’m used to Italian Lasagna & when I make it it’s soaked in sauce. As for Pastitsio next time I get it I will have to ask for sauce.

Greek Dolmades 😋
I voted Pastitsio, but Spanakopita and Moussaka are so good. I didn't pay enough attention.
I voted for Pastitsio as well & although I only had it once maybe I should try it again at a different restaurant because it seemed a little dry.
