As for Pierogis I was always a fan of them especially the small homemade ones. About ten years ago I learned how to make Golabki & have been making it from time to time ever since. As for Bigos I usually have it on the side with the pierogis & have the cabbage rolls as a main dish. Where I live & when I visit my parents there are a few Polish restaurants & there is where I had Bigos for the first time & haven’t attempted to make it or homemade pierogis. Everything else on your list I have never had.
Thanks for making me hungry! Great post by the way, thumbs up.
Grassy Ass as they say or thanks for the MHO’s bro.
Guess what? I found a polish deli twenty minutes away from my house & I went there to eat earlier. The Golabki , the best I have ever had & I also had Bigos & Mizeria. I ate lunch there & I ended up buying more so I could bring stuff home as well. $81.93 later. Wow.
I prefer Ukranian Vareniki, thank you!
Zrazy z jelenia. Venison rolls

Polish cuisine is a delightful journey. I have a soft spot for pierogi, those delicious dumplings filled with various ingredients like potato, cheese, or meat. They remind me of the kind I tried in Warsaw from a small family-run place; absolutely heartwarming. Żurek, a sour rye soup, also stands out with its unique tang, especially when served with kielbasa and a hard-boiled egg. 🍲 Each dish is comforting and rich in tradition.
