I mean more than flip a burger. What is your signature meal?

Cook her a meal. Serve her some wine, offer to be her Sous when she cooks. Serotonin is generated in the stomach and small bowel. Have you ever seen a skinny Buddha. You need to stop assigning Gender to task around the house. You are a Man and you are capable of husbandry. The basic definition means keeping a female animal healthy and happy enough to bears a child. Look it up. Crock pot cooking takes little prep time and smells so good leaving you with plenty of time for canoodling. Dude? Breakfast :Pancakes, make sure to use whole milk and swap the amount of baking powder and baking soda. They will be the size of a life raft. OR Oven French toast. Contact for the resipe. Country Ribs in the crock pot. Two videlia onions, Two Large Crisp Apples. Layer Slices of Onion, Apple, Then Ribs, Then Apple, Finish with onion and Plug it in. Set it on low and let it slow cook all the day long. Can of brew. WHAT
Eh. I mostly just microwave a pasty or microwave a burger or microwave a pizza or stick some frankfurters in the kettle and make a frankfurter + cheese sandwich.
I can cook an omelette, but I wouldn't eat it "with" anything. I'd just put it on a plate and eat it as-is. Making sandwiches out of things is as complicated as I get. Then again I once cooked a burger when I'd run out of bread, and wrapped a pizza around the burger instead.
That's a new one. A pizza burger. 🤔
Did it work?
Depends on the dinner. I don't think I'm good enough that like, if I had a full family unit of my own, I'd be able to cook something amazing all the time lol. But I think I'm good enough at cooking that I can make myself some good dinners. Maybe impress a boyfriend hahah. I love making chicken based dinners, I make a mean creamy chicken pasta.
Full family unit huh? The kids would be saying "I don't want/like that!" no matter how good the meal was. They would want McDonald's or pizza every night, and anything you make would wind up in the trash. Then they would be snacking all night saying "I'm hungry!"
The depressing reality 😭
@just_a_potato Yes. Professionally trained chef
yeah, i've been cooking since i was little and had to babysit my sisters a lot
a lot of what ik thats ACTUALLY good is just stuff my grandma taught me and not creative poverty meals lol the only thing i figured out on my own to make really really well is pasta. so like italian pie or even just spaghetti (i make my own sauce)
Cooking dinner is an art form where each dish tells its own story. My signature meal is a fusion of my two favorite cuisines: Italian and Japanese. I prepare a delightful miso risotto. The creamy arborio rice absorbs the umami-rich flavors of miso, while the addition of mushrooms and a touch of sake give it an exquisite depth. It's finished with grated parmesan and a sprinkle of shiso leaves. The result is a comforting yet adventurous dish that brings two distinct culinary worlds together. 🍣🍝
Sorry James, but you know nothing of the taste of real food. 🙄

I wouldn’t be able to be a short order cook. But I can keep my tummy happy. My mother taught me the basics in the old school ways. She would be 107 years old now. Plus with a little instruction. I can prepare meals that most people will like.
My specialty was baking cakes as a teenager. My mother would never teach me to bake bread! “ I might ruin the dough!”
It's far easier to ruin a cake than baking some bread. 🤔
Yes, I have been cooking since the age of 8. My parents both worked long hours and we had to fix outr meals growing up so it was either learn or go hungry.
Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches is not the same as cooking. I can't imagine kids cooking a lasagna dinner, much less ribs w/ sauerkraut. 😅😋
Yeah I made a rather nice vegetable and tofu pak thai yesterday that should keep me going for a few days. Other things like pasta and other things even soups I have made but the work and time can be too much to make it worthwhile.
Pak Thai or Pad Thai?
Yes im still learning to cook dinner. I've been trying new recipes lately. I made a few zucchini dishes since we've been getting so much zucchini from our garden this year. My wife tells me how to adjust the recipes to make them better after we try them from the original recipe
Yes, I know how to cook a proper dinner! My go-to signature meal would be something like a creamy garlic butter chicken with roasted vegetables and herb rice. It’s flavorful, comforting, and feels like you actually put effort into it—but it’s still simple enough not to stress over.
What about you? Got a dish you’re proud of?
ChatGPT, is that you again?
Knowing how to cook ✅️
Being willing to cook ❎️
I can cook, but I'm usually more of a frozen pizza, or mac & cheese kinda guy. Mostly because I just don't have the time, or the desire, to actually cook a real meal most of the time.
My signature dish is calling Pizza Hut. 😂
Yes I do know how to cook. I'm making porkchops roasted potatoes & yellow beans for dinner tonight.
Hmmm, pork chops. I have not had those in a long time, especially none like my mother used to make. 🤧
I don't have a signature meal, I lean toward stuff like pot pie or casserole. I'm a reasonably good cook. I can stuff and bake a turkey with not much effort. Once I was trained up I could probably cook in a restaurant.
Yes I can cook I just choose not to the vast majority of the time because I'm extremely tired from work most days.
But I've cooked duck, pan seared wagyu in a red wine sauce, seafood ramen with plate of steamed lobster on the side, etc.
So I can cook.
Stir fries (Asian or Mexican). Italian pasta/ sauces/bolognese/Bechemal sauce/carbonara. Bohemian/Polish stuff- pork, dumplings, kraut. Pies/cakes, scratch biscuits, pancakes, waffles. Meats- roasted, grilled, marinated. A few crock-pot meals such as pulled pork when I can't be tied to the kitchen.
I found out the first time someone asked for more.
Sounds like they were either starving or you got it right.
Spot on. Either way.
No, I tend to opt for the easy option and get a ready meal or fast food or make a sandwich or something.
Ofcourse. I make really good fried chicken. Cooking is so easy for me
I cook pretty much every other day, so yeah definitely. I think all adults should learn to cook. Like what are you gonna do if you live alone? Just buy takeout every day?
I've been cooking for a while, so, I'm pretty well rounded.
I can cook a lot of things but I don't know much about baking bread or European cuisine. I'm not sure what my signature dish is, maybe jambalaya or blackened salmon. There's a lot more to my burgers than just flipping them, though.
Elbette Of course, I can cook the best meals and prepare delicious Turkish breakfasts.
well, now he removed his profile pictures.
Bro, i am not attacking you. i am defending speech.
You ask question about politics, the world rapidly changing. About russia and china overpowering USA.
I answer exactly that.
You delete my good willed response to your question. twice.
the consequences of the censorship is even louder opinions and perhaps a little bit of embarrassment.
Not that big. No need to wipe your profile over this.
@Hardon-Collider Why are you and
maj1nall arguing on my thread from 3 months ago? What the hell?
I googled his username and this was the first thread where he had a conversation and wasn't the opinion owner or asker, so he cannot delete posts.
Nothing personal, i do this to everyone who deletes my opinions.
Professionals use AI all the time, it's not about competency or insults. And yes, that question is absolutely AI, everyone can see it.
I could probably put together a roast beef or turkey dinner/
So in other words, Arby's?
Yes, it's a basic "skill" for any average Jacques I know of

I can cook and bake. My signature dishes is lamb and chicken with couscous and penne a la vodka.
I'm no chef but I know how to cook food to feed myself and others.
My signature dish is probably butter chicken or prawn curry.
Yeah I cooked beef bourguinon and ratatouille yesterday
Im afraid of using the kitchen. Unfortunately I dont feel safe as I fear i will burn my house to the ground
I can cook. Others need to learn to eat that 😅
