My NO THANKS is entirely centered on the cockles. Giving them all due credit for not being bottom feeders, they are still filtration feeders. In other words they filter out the crap in the seawater. I'm not convinced the Atlantic ocean is as clean as the Pacific.

So I am dubious.

Can I have mine without the cockles? I'd love the leak parsley and cheddar.

I wouldn't normally eat cockles because I don't really like them but would definitely eat your cockle pie @purplepoppy because a) it looks delicious and b) knowing it's cooked by wonderfully sexual you would make it extra special !
