Which one would you choose: whisky or vodka?

Whisky is my choice.

I have the Vodka argument with people all the time. It's essentially tasteless. Therefore one is as good as another. And Vodka is almost always the alcohol used for fruit juice based drinks. So what you're tasting is orange juice, cranberry juice, pomegranate juice, etc. At that point why buy an expensive Vodka like Grey Goose? even Rum has more flavor than Vodka. I don't get the appeal. To me Vodka is a cheap alcohol for college kids to get hammered on.

But one of my friends argues I'm just an uncultured knuckle dragger who can't appreciate the delicate taste of a top shelf Vodka. He may be right, LOL.

Ewwww. Neither. I hate vodka and don't care for whiskey flavors. I'll take gin, rum or tequila.

Out of those options, vodka. It generally tastes cleaner. Whiskey is also known to give worse hangovers. The taste is also harsher in my opinion. It's always been a drink for ment to just prove they're manly for drinking it. I think the guys that say they like it are just convincing themselves they do.

I've had to stop drinking for health reasons, but whiskey was my preferred drink. Vodka, in my opinion, is simply a neutral-tasting liquid that contains alcohol. It never was to my liking.

Vodka, not as strong in flavor and it's a great mixer. Whiskey tastes like perfume to me. I just can't get used to it.

When I used to drink, Vodka. It is clean tasting. I like it straight and Russian. Stoli’s on the rocks will do. I had great vodka in Russia and always enjoyed it since.

Whisky, given I currently possess 6 bottles of the stuff I do like vodka as well, 13 on ice is a hell of a school reunion but I would spend hundreds on a bottle which I have with Scotch
